I finally decorated for Spring!!! FINALLY put away all of the winter/Christmas decor! It was time. Three months past Christmas…I felt like it was the right thing to do. Spring has arrived at my house and it feels good. Doesn’t it just feel lighter and more airy when you move from Winter decor to Spring decor?

I’m going to share a little secret with you guys though….I’m not a big fan of decorating. I have to really be in the mood for it. I would much rather be tearing something apart or moving onto my next building project than lugging everything up from my storage room and arranging and rearranging and rearranging and….. You get the picture. So let’s just say, I’m happy it’s done. And it will probably stay this way til well, maybe Christmas. Ok, not really…I love to bring the outdoors inside, so I will definitely be bringing in my Russian Sage, when that starts to go crazy in my landscaping again. Amazingly, I still have some from last year….

Of course, NOBODY touch it!! I’m sure it would all crumble. But it looks good. 🙂 (You can check out this wall treatment HERE)

Although most of my succulents and greenery/flowers are faux (much fancier word than “fake” 🙂 ), they really look quite real….

Love all of the succulents too…

I am a huge fan of cotton stems. Such a great neutral filler. Yep! I’m one of those people who keeps these out year-round and I’m not ashamed to say it. 🙂 ….

This vase looks pretty for the pictures, but in real life probably won’t stick around long….at least in this spot. Just being practical. Our bar in the kitchen, is probably our most used space. But she sure looks pretty while the kids are at school….

Stacking books is always a great way to add in decor you already have, while adding height too. It’s a win-win…

Spring is all around us. Won’t be long til those trees will be full of leaves…

But more than anything, I want to show you my favorite newest makeover, so badly!! But I’m going to wait and give it it’s own dedicated post. It’s that good! Be sure to check back next week for the fireplace makeover reveal. We are absolutely loving it! I could sit and stare at it for hours!! If you look close enough, you can see it in the background of at least one picture above. 🙂 But here’s another sneak peak too….
