Can you believe we’re already heading into Fall? While fall is my favorite season of the year, I do try to hold onto summer as long as possible. But, it’s time. Time to switch out all of my summer floral stems for sprigs of fall stems. This week, I’m sharing my top fall stems for your home. All of the great faux fall stems I’ve rounded up and am looking to implement in my own home.
It’s amazing how simply changing the accent color palette in your home can add so much warmth and coziness. Keeping a neutral aesthetic, I like to add in browns, deep greens, a touch of burnt orange and some creams.
Throwing in red tones would really be stepping out of my comfort zone. But I do have my eye on some burgundy fall stems this year. Might be time to step out of the box. 🙂
Before we dive into all of the great finds, I have some quick tips.
One of my favorite ways to decorate for fall every year and save a little money, is to shop my outdoors. While faux stems are great, the real thing is even better.
Venture outside and cut off a branch of changing leaves. Those vibrant colors are beautiful inside your home too.
We have ornamental grass that changes to a gorgeous wheat texture around this time of year. I cut some of this off years ago and it’s still holding up today. Adding these sprigs into my favorite vase is a great way to bring the outside in.
Cutting fresh flowers that have turned the perfect color and adding them to an indoor vase is a simple way to make a fall arrangement.
Don’t forget about your front door. This is a great space to add some fall decor. Adding a fall wreath on the outside or inside of your door is an easy way to add a touch of fall foliage.
