Hard to believe the holidays are upon us. But ready or not, here they come…. So, I thought I would share a few easy to build holiday gift ideas. All of these only require a few tools and minimal supplies. They’re great for a personal touch gift or a treat yourself. 🙂
One of my personal favorites that I use all over my house is my easy to build lanterns. I love these wood lanterns I shared over on my friend Sheri’s site-Hazel & Gold Designs.
Lanterns are a great way to add warmth to a front porch…
Or a fireplace hearth….

I have built several of these for myself and for friends and family. I love to display them on my patio…
My most sought after easy to build holiday gift idea is my chalkboard. Go check out these farmhouse chalkboards here. Everyone loves a fun, stylish chalkboard. They’re great for displaying holiday greetings when your guests come over….
Sorry for the grainy old picture, I actually need to build a new one for myself. Like I said, it’s my most sought after item and therefore, I don’t usually keep mine for very long. I love to give them away for teacher gifts or just because….
Another easy to build holiday gift idea that I get a lot of compliments on is my farmhouse picture frame. And once again, SO SIMPLE to make! Go check out all of the details in this post….
It’s fun to get creative with the colors too…
The easiness of this build makes it another great teacher gift or family/friend gift….
So simple to make. I usually take an evening and build these in bulk….
