Last week I shared a number of the projects I completed for our master suite makeover. And, as promised, this week I’m wrapping up the rest of the projects. So, let’s jump right in….

As I shared last week, one of the changes I made was replacing all of my builder’s grade trim with craftsman trim. In addition to that upgrade, I also painted the casing of our windows black. Wow! Did it make them pop! I love it. In this post, I share the easiest way to paint around your windows. Trust me, this technique is a real time-saver

A full length mirror was a must! I love the look of those in a master suite. But I REALLY love the look of Anthropologie’s mirrors…just not so much the price. So, I decided to craft my own. This DIY project was so much fun and turned out exactly how I had envisioned. Be sure to check out the full tutorial here

I have built a lot of furniture, but I had never built a bed–until this makeover! Yep! Sharing these amazing plans to the Mid Century Modern platform bed I built. Sturdy and beautiful! Get the full tutorial here….

And every bed has to have a couple nightstands, right? So off to the drawing board again and out to my shop to build these beauties. With two sliding drawers and a cubby space, lots of storage is their greatest feature! Here’s the plans

I’ve gotten a lot of questions about the accessories/decor in our master suite makeover, so next week I’ll be sharing all of the links. But this week, I wanted to share this giant. Normally this guy would cost a fortune. But I had a large vase that I had gotten on clearance from Marshall’s several years ago. I wasn’t really loving the color anymore and decided to give it a coat of paint and some texture. I love how it turned out. I share exactly how I did it, in this post….

And that’s it! That wraps up my master suite makeover with all of the tutorials. I can’t wait to show you what space I’m in the process of changing up now. Of course, you can always hop over to Instagram and see what my latest project is. Hope to see you over there!
