HAPPY APRIL TOOLS MONTH!!
Math is not my strong suit! So, when I had to figure out the angles for this ceiling project, I knew it was going to be a challenge…but I wasn’t expecting it to take me all day to shiplap this little space…
I tried all different kinds of hacks to find these angles, to no avail! I finally pulled out a tool that I knew I had on hand but was a little reluctant to use. Not sure why…but probably because I didn’t know how to use it. I knew it was going to take some searching to figure out this nifty gadget. So off to YouTube I went! And let me just say, I am so happy I did! In no time, I had my first angle marked and ready to cut! (Amazon Affiliate Link Included)
What is this time-saving tool? A T-Bevel Angle Finder. So easy to use! It has the capability to tell you the degree of your angle through the digital display or you can mark your angle onto your board once you’ve set it in place (which is how I used it for these particular cuts)…. I am so excited to bring you my first official YouTube video showing how to use this tool. It would mean the world to me if you would click over in the video at the top of this post and give it a thumbs-up and maybe you’ll even want to subscribe. 🙂 My plan is to do more videos with my blog posts. Hopefully this will give more clarity and direction, since so many of my posts are tutorials. I hope you find them helpful. And with time, the quality of them should improve as I curate more and more of them. 🙂
Next week I’ll be sharing another fun gadget as April Tools Month (cheesy, I know) continues….The best tool to install cabinet handles!! This one is a game changer!!
Until next time,
Happy Building, Friend!!
