Where is your happy place? You know, that place you go that evokes a sense of nostalgia or just an overall warm, fuzzy feeling. A place that brightens your mood and helps you forget about the stresses of life. Maybe it’s a favorite coffee shop, Starbucks anyone? A favorite store, Target maybe? A favorite room in your home?

One of my “all is well with the world” venues is Saving Grace Vintage. Located on Berry Street, in downtown Fort Wayne, this vintage-inspired boutique is full of character, charm and hospitality from the inside-out.

If only walls could talk…The “established in 1890” walls of Saving Grace Vintage could tell us quite a story. This all brick, 4500 square foot, historical home is permeated with history. The perfect location for a vintage shoppe.

Opening her shop in May of 2014, Pam Kessie had a vision, “My store is my vision. We take things that need a nudge and give them that extra love to stay in our lives. Vintage inspires things. It brings back memories. You remember your mom or dad or grandma when you see or touch these items.”

In addition to offering restyled painted furniture…

Saving Grace has branched into a new adventure. In the summer of 2016, Pam opened Saving Grace Downtown Studio.

Less than a block away from the Saving Grace shoppe, this venue thrives on creativity; offering furniture painting classes, private workshops, team-building workshops, bachelorette parties, mommy & me parties (how cool is that??) and more.

Priding itself in offering furniture/home decor created by local artists, Saving Grace Vintage is unequivocally a value to the local community.

Treat yourself to a carefree afternoon and venture down to the shoppe. See what all the hype is about. I’m quite confident Saving Grace Vintage will become your “happy place” too…

Especially if you’re the lucky winner of the $50 gift card, Pam has so graciously partnered with me on. A big thank you to all of you who entered and signed up for the monthly newsletter. I loved seeing what everyone has been up to in the DIY realm. Lots of creativity out there!! This was such a fun giveaway/contest. I can’t wait to do more of these. 🙂

And now the moment we’ve all been waiting for…the winner of the $50 Saving Grace Gift Card is…Lori Kramer. (Results generated by random.org)

Congratulations Lori!! Your $50 gift card is waiting for you in the shop.

Until next time,

Happy Building (and Shopping)!!
