I’m back!!! I kinda disappeared for a couple weeks. Had a great time with family, friends, food…too much food. Time to reset and get back to real life..schedules, kids’ school, eating right (most of the time:)  ), and projects.

It was relaxing to take a break, but I am pumped and ready to start my next project….Adding shiplap to my foyer and beginning the huge task of changing all of our trim/baseboards to a thicker craftsman style look. After doing this to the little boys’ room, I was in love and decided I had to have it throughout the house. It’s a pretty big undertaking. But, my house has pretty much become one big project anyway. 🙂 So, I’ll just tackle this, one room at a time. We’ll see how far I get in 2016. 🙂

As promised (many times), today I am ready and can’t wait to show you the boys’ room. After SEVERAL weeks of working on this project, it is finished!! WooWoo!!!

Major blogfail: no before pictures 🙁  Sorry.

So here we go with how it looks today:

And these lockers…as if they were made for this room. LOVE!!

And I can’t get enough of this sliding barn door. It opens and closes so smoothly and goes perfectly with this room. I have found several more places throughout the house to add more of these. 🙂

And just one more look…because it rarely looks this good. 🙁

Now I’m off to my next project. What decor changes do you have planned for 2016? Would love to see your progress and final reveal. 🙂

Step by Step Guide to Painting Eaves for Instant Curb Appeal

I painted my gutters and eaves black!!! And the only thing I regret is not doing it sooner. Wow! What a statement this easy DIY makes on my limewashed brick home. I'm still in awe every time I pull into my driveway. And I might, at times, walk around my house just to...
